The story revolves around aquatic sports where women push each other off platforms!

Keijo!!!!!!!! an aquatic sports manga by Daichi Sorayomi is getting a television anime adaptation. The news will be officially made public on this year’s 11th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine.

The manga takes place in an alternate Japan where a sport called “Keijo” by law in 2003 became a sport alongside horse racing, boat racing, and cycling that allows for gambling. The contestants of the sports stand on platforms floating on the water and must use their bottoms and chests to fight against each other and push each other off the platform. The story follows Nozomi Kaminashi, a high school student, who aims to join the sport after she graduates. She grew up training in gymnastics, and she has good balance and flexibility. After high school, Nozomi joins a training boarding school and enters the world of Keijo.

The 11th issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday will also publish the anime’s first visual.

Sorayomi launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2013, and Shogakukan will publish the 10th compiled volume on February 18.
